2025-2026 Salus Health Care Forums
The First Salus Forum in the second series was held on November 5, 2025. Attention was directed in this forum to a recent health care report and to the concepts of population health and the innovative delivery of healthcare in rural communities.
The second Salus Forum in the second series focused on the role played by the clergy in contemporary health care systems and, more broadly, the dimension of spirituality in health care. This forum was held on December 3, 2025.
The third Salus Forum in the second series was addressed to the challenge of engaging master adaptive leadership within contemporary healthcare systems. This forum was held on January 7, 2026.
A fourth Salus Forum was held on February 4, 2026. Primary focus was placed on a potential, new human service that could be linked to health care systems. This service is Late Life Doula. It would provide comprehensive service to senior citizens.
The fifth Salus forum was held on March 4, 2026. Attention was given to the current and potential role played by AI in healthcare systems.
The sixth Salus forum focused on hot spotting and cold spotting in health care system. It was held on April 1, 2026.
A focus on the innovative medical education program at the USC Keck School is highlighted at the seventh Salus forum held on May 6, 2026.
The eight Salus forum focused on the use of anesthetics and their impact. This session was held on July 1, 2026.
The nature and role of Masterful Leadership was the focus during the ninth Salus forum held on August 5, 2026.
Continuing the consideration of leadership challenges, the tenth Salus forum held on September 2, 2026 focused on the nature of Emergence in contemporary healthcare institutions.
