The Professional School of Psychology (PSP) is a global organization that has been serving the educational needs of professional psychologists and human service needs of diverse populations throughout the world for more than 40 years. While in existence, PSP has addressed human needs in such areas as AIDS, trauma induced by terrorism and international conflict, mental health policies, refugee camps, and family dynamics associated with transgender identity change.

Research and Publications

PSP is also the site of the Edge of Knowledge, a research and development center that focuses on such areas as positive psychology (hope, freedom and interpersonal connectedness and community), health psychology, and psychological perspectives on public policy and the mass media. Many of the publications generated by the Edge of Knowledge are published in the school’s Library of Professional Psychology (www.libraryofprofessionalpsychology.edu).

Certifications

Certificate programs are offered by PSP (in association with the Adler Graduate School,  its sister institution in Toronto Ontario Canada). These programs provide advanced education and training in areas related to clinical, organizational and health psychology. Available to professionals throughout the world, the PSP certificate programs are often delivered via hybrid instruction (offered both in-person and digitally-mediated using Zoom as a platform).
