Elizabeth Bouve served for many years in a leadership role for a public school system in Maryland. As supervisor of athletics for the 8th largest school system in the country. Elizabeth led the way in implementation of new federal regulations (The Equal Pay Act, Title IX, ADA, IDEA) that created a more equitable playing field for women and those with disabilities.
Since returning to her home state of Maine, Elizabeth has been actively involved with many community service agencies, including Harpswell Aging at Home, the Harpswell Coastal Academy, the Harpswell Heritage Land Trust and Harpswell Recreation Department.
